Within the terminals of Perth Airport (PER) are comprehensive facilities for today's traveller. Passengers can make use of the plentiful shops and eateries, when waiting for flights. Each of the terminals comes with observation areas, meaning that you can watch the aircraft coming and going. Passengers can also shop, eat and relax in many public spaces.

Of note, the opening times at Perth Airport are as follows:

  • Terminal 1 (International) - 24 hours a day
  • Terminal 2 (Qantas Domestic) Monday to Thursday, Saturday - 04:00 to 00:30, Friday and Sunday - 04:00 to 02:30
  • Terminal 3 (Domestic) - daily, 03:30 to 01:00
  • Terminal 4 (Domestic) - daily, 03:30 to 01:00

The International Terminal building at Perth Airport also features a number of helpful, volunteer Customer Service Officers (CSO), who can be easily identified by their bright gold jackets. There is also a lost property service, where staff can assist passengers in locating misplaced items. However, for items lost in Terminal 2, or board domestic flights, you will need to phone the Qantas and Jetstar 'Lost and Found' domestic number.

Shops, Duty-Free and Retail Outlets


Perth Airport certainly boasts plenty of choice when it comes to the world of shopping. Many international chains sit alongside more individual Australian stores. Popular choices include Australian Made, Australian Way, Guess, Newslink, Relay, Outback Australia, the Purely Australian Clothing Company, Rip Curl, Sunglass Hut and Vodafone. At Think WA you will discover a unique assortment of Western Australian produce, making the perfect authetic gift or souvenir. To make the most of your tax-free allowance, there are three outlets of First Tax and Duty Free, all based within the International Terminal.

Bars, Cafés and Restaurants


There are a number of places to eat at Perth Airport. For a cappuccino and a cake, pastry or sandwich, choose between Aromas, Dome and Hudsons Coffee, while for a glass of Western Australian wine or a chilled beer, the Freshwater Bay Ale House and Mattress Blue Bar will likely meet your needs. SumoSalad and Wots in the Wok are on hand for health-concious passengers, and Eagle Boys Pizza is ideal for something quick, tasty and filling. For more leisurely meals (breakfast, lunch and also dinner), the Red Rooster and its roast chicken will oblige.

There are ATM cashpoints in both the Domestic and International terminals, operated by ANZ, Bankwest, Travelex and Westpac. Travelex also features some seven different foreign exchange counters, whilst also selling phone cards and Cash Passports. Travelex are open all through the year, to service the passengers for every single flight.

Post boxes located outside of the main entrance and also in the departures lounge. The mail is collected regularly on a daily basis.

Business and Conference Facilities


Perth Airport may not feature specific business areas as such, but the spacious lounges and coffee shops are often suitable for small meetings or interviews. Wireless Internet access is provided by Azure and is available in most parts of arrivals and departures. The nearby Comfort Inn Bel Eyre Hotel can be found just 2 km / 1 mile away and is well-equipped with business facilities, including meeting rooms and catering, as well as conference facilities for around 100 people. The nearby Comfort Inn Bel Eyre Hotel in the Belmont neighbourhood is a particularly popular option used for meetings and conferences by regular business travellers.
