With shuttles, rental cars, buses, taxis and limos, Perth Airport (PER) is well connected to the city and Western Australia (WA) as a whole.

Ground transport at Perth Airport provides an easy way to travel to many outlying suburbs and towns, including those of Bayswater, Duncraig, Greenwood, Kalamunda, Karrinyup, Midland, Mirrabooka, Osborne Park, South Fremantle, Welshpool and Willetton.

Buses

Regular buses are run by Transperth, with a convenient stop being located in the bus lane, just a short distance from the Domestic Terminal. These buses usually operate around 45 minutes after each airline arrival and travel into the city centre and in particular, the Belmont Forum Shopping Centre, the Esplanade Bus Port, Northbridge, Victoria Park, East Perth and West Perth. For those in the International Terminals, you will need to first use the Airport Connect shuttle to reach the Domestic Terminals (2 and 3).

Shuttle buses are to hand at Domestic Terminal 3 (T3) for those headed into the city, run by Perth Airport Connect. Operating seven days a week, these shuttle buses depart hourly on the hour from 09:00. Many Perth hotels also provide their own shuttles, including the Comfort Inn, Murray Street Lodge and Wyndham.

Taxi Cabs

Taxi ranks are situated outside of PER Airports Domestic Terminal and International Terminal buildings. Popular destinations reached by taxi include as Armadale, Fremantle, Joondalup, Mandurah and Scarborough, as well as downtown Perth, which can usually be reached in around 20 to 30 minutes. Worth noting, there is a surcharge for all airport departures, which contributed to the overall infrastructure and kerbside facilities.
